In Brain Cancer by Brainy Days Ahead

According to the American Cancer Society, in 2016, there will be approximately 1.7 million new cancer cases diagnosed in the United States with about 400,000 of those experiencing spread of their cancers to the brain. In this study, researchers determine that whole brain radiation did not result in a survival benefit over focused radiation alone and was associated weakness, headaches, or problems with speech and information processing, and overall lowered quality of life in cancer patients.
