Explore the inside of a car using your phone to see different parts of the car’s interior. London-based startup Blippar thinks this type of advertising is the answer to what AR is for. Blippar is working with automotive brands to launch a banner ad app that shows the image of the inside of a car. Beyond just looking around inside the car, users can give the app permission to access their camera, and see real-life surroundings through the virtual windshield and windows of the car. The company believes that through unique experiences like these, consumers will be more likely to engage with banner ads.
