Inhibiting brain cancer growth – new discovery.

Scientists from the Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute and Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center have found a way to inhibit the growth the form of brain cancer known as glioblastoma by targeting a protein that drives growth of brain tumors.¬†Development of a new therapy in response to this discovery may increase survival time for glioblastoma patients.
