Russian Army Testing A Remote-Controlled Tank.

In Brain Technology, Robots by Brainy Days Ahead

With no human Russian anywhere to be seen, the Vikhr remote-controlled tank has been tested on a military testing ground at a classified location in Russia. Video shows the unmanned tank traveling through a dusty path, navigating through stretches of water and then firing into the distance from its machine gun. The state-of-the-art robot features a 30 mm automatic gun and six anti-tank guided missiles. It can also be equipped with machine guns or a flamethrower. The tank is enormous in size – 22 feet long, 10.8 feet tall, and weighing 14.7 tons. So where’s the driver? He/she either is looking through a camera linked to the tank or getting an expanded picture through linkage to a drone. Russia is the world’s third biggest military spender. See the Vikhr at work, here.
